"Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service under the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania" (LHMS) is a state budgetary institution responsible for meteorological and hydrological observations and forecasts. The briefing was to redesign a logo and a visual identity to correspond to the abstract yet scientific nature of the Ministry's weather forecast and research. Shape and form orientation, readability, and simplicity were the principles which were guiding the development of this branding project. Logotype design was inspired by the abstract nature of the water horizon and ever-changing cloud shapes. The identity system aimed to convey the systematic yet organic nature that translates, through typography, color palette, landscape photography.
